Shut Up & Write

You love it. You loathe it.
Either way, you can't help yourself. You are one of us.
(You are also a masochist. But that's OK.)

Struggling (and more often fighting) writer by trade, and office monkey when I need to pay my bills. It's an enviable life.
I know, you're probably a little jealous now.
It's perfectly understandable.

The next stage of evolution...

That is, according my dad.

I just took a test for Asperger's Syndrome. I scored pretty high (though fortunately escaped Autism levels). Apparently it's genetic. And it does explain some of my weirder traits.

It's the nerd syndrome. *sigh*

Anyway, you can see how high you score, too -- here.

I scored right on the fence, which was a lot lower than I expected. I've been wondering about Asperger's for a while now. My symptoms aren't glaring now, but I'm pretty sure that I was a textbook case as a child.

My mother actually works with kids who are autistic/have autisism spectrum disorders (or whatever they're called).

She tells me I don't have Asperger's, but added that at some point, my father most certainly did.

(My score was 23 -- higher than I expected.)

SK, I'm not surprised that you considered Aspberger's... was this before or after your plague diagnosis?
