Shut Up & Write

You love it. You loathe it.
Either way, you can't help yourself. You are one of us.
(You are also a masochist. But that's OK.)

Struggling (and more often fighting) writer by trade, and office monkey when I need to pay my bills. It's an enviable life.
I know, you're probably a little jealous now.
It's perfectly understandable.

Looking back...

Today was a somewhat odd day.

1) Discovered a friend is being shipped to Afghanistan in six months

2) Even when you're not feeling terribly social or extroverted, friends are always good company

3) Phil is lovely

4) The Pillow Fighting League (http://www.pillowfighter.ca/ -- but the site isn't quite up and running yet)is a grand thing indeed.

[LATER ADD-IN... This is a far better item to read on the PFL.

5) Any event where you can bellow, "Kick her in the cooch!" is also a fine thing

6) Realized my moods are very much dictated by the weather -- and I fear as the forecast is calling for about a week of crappy rain and cool temperatures

7) Nothing is more enticing at the end of a long day than the prospect of a hot shower and a full night of uninterrupted rest

8) There is never enough karma to go around for the people who need it.. or even who could use a little bit

God, I'm tired. I feel like I lived a lifetime over the last week...

It's all well and good to yell things about cooch kicking, but do you have any idea what it feels like to get a knee in the pubic bone? I was on the verge of puking for half of my match. I am still in pain today!

Anyway, I'm sorry that I missed you and Phil, but I'm so glad that you guys came out!

No, no, no... *YOU* were supposed to be the cooch kicker -- not the recipient!

I commented to your boy that you looked sufficiently and appropriately pissy during your match.

Now I know why.

I was there both both Phil and Larissa -- we were all delighted by the event, though look forward to the larger venue.

(Some fellow outside overheard us laughing about me yelling things and told me to join the PFL -- he wanted to be my manager. Heh.)

Aw. You have a fan!

And Aaron never told me that Larissa was there, too. What a weiner!

The match with Digit was weird. We were hugging before we went out, then we went insane for three minutes, then we went backstage and hugged again. There was a guy after the show who was so sad to find us hanging out together because he was sure that we seriously hated each other.
